Sonoma County Community Holocaust Memorial

We Remember

The Sonoma County Community Holocaust Memorial is dedicated to preserving the memory of the relatives and loved ones of those in our community who have perished in the Shoah, the Hebrew word for the Holocaust.

זכור

The Hebrew word Zachor is often used in the context of the Holocaust. Meaning "to remember," we strive to this day to never forget the atrocities committed in the 1930s and 40s in Europe. The memorial is just one way in which we, as a community, can keep the memories of the victims alive.

Dedication on 9/16

Please join us on September 16th at 11:30 a.m. at the Santa Rosa Memorial Park on Franklin Ave. There will be a dedication ceremony there for the second wall of the memorial.

Rabbi Gittleman, Rabbi Miller, and Rabbi Keller will be present to lead the ceremony. The event is free and all are welcome.
